Fall Interviews

Each fall, our Directors travel to major Texas cities to meet prospective campers and their families. Although the word “interview” may sound serious, we promise it’s not! It’s a fun, informal visit with your future camper.

The purpose of the interview is simply to meet each of our hopeful campers, tell them a little about Camp Longhorn, ask a few questions, and give them a chance to EARN MERITS (Camp money!) for their good manners.

No appointment is needed. Simply arrive during the designated interview time and check in with our Staff at the desk. Interviews will be completed in order of arrival. We appreciate your patience as we take the time to visit with each camper and answer their questions.

In addition to the interview, we’ll show the Camp Longhorn video, play a game for merits, and answer any questions your family may have.

A few things to know:

• Your camper’s one-on-one visit with a Director will last approximately 10–15 minutes.
• Campers must be in 2nd grade or older to interview.
• New camper placements will begin in mid-October and continue throughout the fall, winter, and spring as spots become available.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Tuition and Deposits

• After February 1 forfeit deposit (may carry over to next summer as non-refundable).
• 30 days or less before term, 50% of tuition is refundable.
• 10 days or less before term, no refund.

Bus Fees

• Full refund up to 7 days before term begins.
• Full credit for changes anytime.
