Elizabeth Horton and Mary Katherine Horton, 4th term campers, had a great time over their spring break!
They toured Monticello and hit the fun spots in New York City.
Erica Hairston, 4th Term camper, pitched a shut out 13-0 during the MacArthur/Churchill softball game. Erica's team has a record of 12-4-1 (including preseason scrimmages) so far this season. ATTAWAYTOGO!
William Korn, 2nd term camper, was named to TPSMEA All State Band 2007-2008. William participated in a 3 day All State Band Clinic in San Antonio, featuring a concert held at Trinity University's Laurie Auditorium. Will plays the Bb Clarinet and Tenor Saxophone for Central Catholic High School's Marching, Concert and Jazz Bands.

Tex's Challenge Adventure Race

Camp Longhorn was well represented in the first ever Tex's Challenge Adventure Race held at Camp Longhorn Inks Lake on Saturday, April 19.

The race consisted of a 4 mile run on trails through the brush, kayaking over to the State Park, a 14 mile bike through the park and on to Camp Longhorn Indian Springs and back again, then getting back in your kayak to paddle back to Camp.

Jim Robertson, 2nd term camper, and his friend, D. Espitia, placed 8th in the team division. Directors Tyler Robertson and Stacy and David Bennett also competed in the event.

Robby Holihan, 1st Term camper, competes often in competitive wakeboard events. After camp, he will be attending an event in Virginia.

Sara Cooper, 4th term camper, in center of photo was on vacation with her family. The family divided up into teams, girls against boys, for a fishing tournament!

The girl's team won 1st Place with a white marlin! Grandpa ended up on the girls team. So, he had to dress the part when receiving the winning trophy!
